About the MG HS
Michele Bazzica purchased this MG HS new with additional options for $36,795 (including all on-road costs). Michele Bazzica would buy this car again because: “We’re very happy with the performance of the car. We’ve driven to Queensland three times in this car. It handles really well out on the country road. Driving with it is very smooth out in the country. The suspension is great.”
How reliable has your car been? Tell us about any issues.
We’ve had no issues with the car so far. As stated previously, we’re very happy with the vehicle. Every time we get in it, everything works, and it works. We even tow our vintage MG with it to local MG car shows.
What do you think of the ownership experience with your car?
I love the connectivity that comes with the car. It is very handy.
Reverse camera is good, it helps me with my parking.
Similarly, as stated above, the overall experience has been pleasant with no issues. we’ve driven 58,000km. We were driving a Ford XR6 prior to the HS, and it has been a much better in comparison.
How has the purchase and aftercare experience been with your car?
We went to the dealership at Hamilton. Sally and her team (Paul) were very professional.
Paul gave a very in-depth explanation of the vehicle and was very patient with us. eg. how i get my phone connected to the car.
We’ve been there a few times for the standard servicing, really quick turnaround.
Are you happy with the price and features of your car?
Very happy, that’s why we purchased it.
Originally, we were looking at a Mustang, given our passion in vintage cars and sports cars. However, the issue was we weren’t able to fit a tow bar onto the Mustang.
Then we looked at the ZS but thought it was slightly smaller and went with the HS. which can be fitted with the tow bar that will come in handy because we use it for our trailer.
What do you think of the performance and economy of your car?
When Robert drives it, he puts it in the sports mode.
It’s got sufficient performance, it’s got good acceleration, which makes overtaking on the country highway easy.
Sufficient fuel economy, considering the size of the car. between Robert and my type of driving, we balance each other out.
What do you think of the technology in your car?
As mentioned, we love the technology in the car.
The adaptive cruising was very useful, and we use it all the time. It helped us on more than one occasion.
It’s got everything that we would ever need in a car.
What do you think of the ride comfort and handling of your car?
Handling is great, easy to manoeuvre. Getting around on the country road or tight corner was made easy.
The synthetic leather seats gets really hot out here, so we put lamb’s wool seat cover. As mentioned, the suspension is really good around the roads we drive on.
