Fiat Automobiles is an Italian manufacturer that, like subsidiary Alfa Romeo, is headquartered in Turin, Italy.
Part of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group, Fiat is one of the oldest manufacturers – first founded in 1899 – and currently specialises in affordable, compact vehicles that are still hugely popular in Europe, as well as a successful commercial range.
In Australia, key model lines include the retro-styled 500 micro hatch, the related 500C convertible, the 500X crossover, and performance Abarth versions of the 500 as well as the Mazda MX-5-based 124 Spider.
