The driver of this Toyota Supra with a pretty impressive body kit will need some tissues after hearing its front lip get scraped off by a car park entrance.

Shotbydayday has posted the video taken at the 15th anniversary of Wekfest, in San Jose, United States, calling it a “DIY splitter delete”.

The video starts with a convoy of vehicles, including two Toyota Supras and a BMW X5, approaching the end of a car park ramp.

The driver seems like they know what to do, taking the change in concrete level at an angle, however unfortunately the slight change in direction wasn’t enough.

You can turn the audio on to hear the gut-wrenching crunch where the front lip is destroyed.

It appears the driver isn’t aware of the extent of the damage until driving a little further and realising the front lip has ended up wedged underneath the car.

Bystanders walk towards the car to alert the driver before the video stops.

A separate post on Instagram by the owner of the vehicle blames a “brain fart” on the incident.

According to Hoan2tea, the carbon fibre front lip will be replaced with a new lip. To make it up to his wife for the damage, the owner has decided to get her “a top mount turbo set up, charged air cooler manifold, port injection, and some flex fuel”.
